A Musical Journey
Take a musical journey with Pennsylvania Symphonic Winds. The Road and the Revelry explores music inspired by adventure, reflection, and celebration. From the lyrical beauty of Percy Grainger’s Irish Tune from County Derry to the exuberance of Léo Delibes’ March and Cortege of Bacchus, the program takes listeners on a journey through a diverse collection of wind band repertoire.
The concert features guest horn soloist Elizabeth Pfaffle, performing Gordon Jacob’s Concerto for Horn and Strings, alongside works by Williams, Grainger, Jones, Smith, and Delibes.
